Rosses Court sits on the old Rosses Hotel. Originally purchased in 1978 by P.V. Doyle Hotels, it was intended to refurbish the old Rosses Hotel to a new modern hotel and conference centre.
Additional hotels adjoining this site were proposed to be purchased, namely the Pierre Hotel and Haddington Hotel. This proposal never came to fruition.
In 1989 it was decided to demolish the now derelict building and replace it with a modern apartment development of 24 no. units and 2 no. penthouses.
The development was carried out by P.V. Doyle Construction Co. Ltd.
